A trademark registration in Kazakhstan is valid for 10 years from the filing date and can be renewed for further 10-year periods an unlimited number of times.

Renewal conditions

1. Term:
   The renewal request may be filed during the last year of validity. After expiry, the registration can still be renewed within a 6-month grace period, subject to an additional official fee.
2. No re-examination:
   Renewal does not require a new examination.
3. Fees:
   Renewal is effected upon request of the owner or its representative and payment of the official fee, which depends on the number of Nice classes covered by the registration.

• Power of attorney – a colour scan of the signed power of attorney is sufficient, the original is not required (we will send you a draft)
